Selection Process

• Final selection will be based on on written exam + Physical test and Interview basis. 

Written Exam Pattern:

• Technical Knowledge: 02 hours Maximum 100 marks MCQ question in English/Hindi only for Technical posts.
• Hindi and English Knowledge Paper - 03 hours Maximum 200 marks MCQ question in English/ Hindi for Technical and Non technical posts

Physical Qualification:

• Height: Male candidates minimum 167.5 centimeter and 152.4 CM for female candidates
• Chest: 81 - 86 cm for male only
• Race: 800 meter in 02 minute 40 second for male and 3 minute 30 second for female candidates and 3 minute 15 second for Ex-Serviceman.
• Long Jump: 13 Feed for Male, 10 feed for Female candidates and 10 Feet for Ex-Serviceman
• Gola: 19 Feet for Male candidates and 15 Feet for Female candidates and 15 feet for Ex-Serviceman.

HP Police Recruitment Written Exam 2017

Written Examination will be held in the respective districts, preferably on the same day for all districts. Written examination will be of 80 marks of objective type of 60 minutes duration. It will include questions on the English and Hindi languages, General Awareness, Maths and Science & Reasoning Aptitude. The written examination shall be of 10+2 standard except mathematics for which standard shall be of matriculation.
