Eligibility
- Educational qualification: Candidate must have passed at least +2 examination conducted by the Council constituted under Section 3 of the Orissa Higher Secondary Education Act, 1982 or equivalent examination from a recognized Council, Board or University
- Age limit: 18 to 32 years
- Application Fee: The candidates are required to deposit fees of Rs.100/- (Rupees One Hundred only) in Govt. Treasury under the Head “0070-other administrative services-01-administration of justice- 501-services and service fees-0010-charges for service provided-02177-examination fees for recruitment conducted by Orissa District & Subordinate Courts” and to submit the deposit Challan in original along with their applications. The S.C / S.T candidates are exempted from payment of the examination fees. Fees so deposited are non-refundable.

- Final selection will be based on Computer Based Test & Interview
Exam pattern
- Stenographer:
- English: 100 (2 hours)
- Shorthand & Typewriting: 50 Marks (15 Minutes)
- Typewriting Test: 50 Marks (10 Minutes)
- Computer Science Test (Practical): 100 Marks (1 hour)
- Viva - Voce Test: 35 Marks (1 hour)
- Junior Clerk
- English: 100 Marks (02 hours)
- Arithmetic: 100 Marks (1 hour)
- General Knowledge: 100 Marks (1 hour)
- Computer Science Test (Practical): 100 Marks (1 hour)
- Viva -Voce: 45 Marks
