Eligibility Criteria for SI (Overseer) ASI / Draughtsman & CT / PIONEER 

  • Educational qualification & Age Limit:
    • SI / Overseer (Civil): 
      • Intermediate with 3 years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized Board/Institution or university or equivalent
        • Between 21 to 30 years
    • ASI / Draughtsman:
      • Matric with English, General Science and Mathematics from a recognized board with three years diploma in Draughtsman Course (Civil/ Mechanical Engineering) from a Govt. recognized Polytechnic.
        • Between 18 to 25
    • CT (Plumber / Electrician / Carpenter / Painter):
      • Minimum matriculation / Xth class pass or equivalent from a recognized Board, or university recognized by the Central or State Govt.
      • Technical Qualification: One year experience in respective trades i.e. Massonry, Carpentry, Painting, Plumbing or Electrician. Candidates having certificate (Three months & above duration) under National skill qualification framework compliant anchored by National skill development Agency (NSDA) under Govt. of India, Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship or certificate of trade from recognized Industrial Training Institute agency will be eligible for additional 5 marks during trade test. However, authenticity of certificate will be verified from concerned institutions as per verification procedure. 
        • Between 18 to 23 years (for CT Posts) 
  • Examination Fee: 
    • Candidates applying for the post of SI/Overseer, ASI/Draughtsman and various ranks of CT/Pioneer (Masson, Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter and Painter) belonging to General(UR)/OBC category should deposit examination as mentioned below: 
      • SI/Overseer : Rs 200/-
      • ASI/Draughtsman : Rs 100/-
      • CT/Pioneer (Masson, Plumber, Electrician, Carpenter and Painter): Rs 100/-
    • Fee payable only through SBI Challan or online payment through Net banking/credit /debit cards of any bank. Fee is exempted for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.

Selection Process for SI (Overseer) ASI / Draughtsman & CT / PIONEER 

  • All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be asked to appear in Physical Standards Test, Physical Efficiency Test and documentation. Detailed scrutiny of their eligibility will not be undertaken before PET/ PST & documentation. Therefore, it will be the responsibility of the candidate to verify their eligibility as prescribed in this notice before appearing for PST/ PET & documentation.

Exam pattern & Syllabus SI (Overseer) ASI / Draughtsman & CT / PIONEER

  • The candidates who qualify in PST/PET & Documentation will appear in written test and informed in writing on the day of PST/PET & Documentation. Admit Card to the candidates, who qualify in PST/PET & Documentation will be uploaded the website i.e. www.crpfindia.com by mentioning date & venue on which they are required to appear for written test. Qualified candidates may download their call letter/admit card through said website i.e. www.crpfindia.com. The written test will be as under: (a) The written examination will be conducted on OMR basis systems at designated centres. (b) Written test for various posts will be conducted in following manner:
    • SI/Overseer (100 Marks)
      • Part.I: Professional Knowledge (related to syllabus of civil engineering) Carrying 50 marks (1 marks for each question)
      • Part.II: General Awareness (related to General Knowledge, General awareness) Carrying 25 marks (1 marks for each question)
      • Part.III: Physics/Maths/Chemistry (as per 12 th standard) Carrying 25 marks (1 marks for each question)
      • Note: The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English for duration of 2 hours. Answer must be given only in Hindi or English.
    • ASI (Draughtsman) (100 Marks):
      • Part-I: 60 marks (Maths-15 , Science-15 , English of Class 10 standard-15 & General Knowledge and Awareness-15 Marks, Total 60 Marks) Carrying 60 marks (1 marks for each question).
      • Part-II: Professional Knowledge Carrying 40 marks (1 marks for each question). Questions will be related to job of Draftsman.
      • Note: The written test will consist of objective type multiple choice questions. The questions will be set both in Hindi and English for duration of 2 hours. Answer must be given only in Hindi or English.
    • CT/Pioneer (100 Marks):
      • Part-I: General awareness/ knowledge, Knowledge of elementary mathematics Analytical aptitude, Ability to observe and distinguish patterns, Basic knowledge in English/Hindi. Carrying 40 marks (1 marks for each question)
      • Part-II: Questions separately for each trade to assess the knowledge of the candidate in respective trade. Candidate applying for a particular trade will be given question paper pertaining to that trade only.  Carrying 60 marks (1 marks for each question)
  • Trade Test (only for the post of CT / PIONEER
    • Trade test/practical assessment will be qualifying in nature. Out of 50 marks for practical Trade Test, a candidate must secure 20 marks to qualify.
      • Masson: Knowledge of Massonery work, Handling tools, Mixing of cement, Calculation of area of wall/pillar for specific construction.
      • Plumber: Knowledge of plumbering work, handling tools, pressure of water according to height of building, use of GI and PVC pipe, fitting of pipe in corner, attaching pipes and taps.
      • Electrician: Knowledge of Electric work. Fitting of MCB, fitting of plug/bulbs/ tublights/holders, supply of 11000 volts and 440 volts, preparation of earthing panel, fitting of generator set. Use of copper and aluminum wire.
      • Carpenter: Handling tools, cutting of wood, fitting, polishing and finishing of materials, Knowledge of fitting of doors and windows / fixing of glass panes on windows. Able to make wooden boxes, racks and to make a timber truss. 
      • Painter: Knowledge of colours, paints, shades, painting of sign boards, painting and drawing/knowledge of spray painting of motor vehicle etc. Knowledge of colour scheme by mixing different paints/ distempering. Able to write letters neatly on banners and boards. Able to work out quantity of paints required for wood painting and CGI sheet painting.

    Eligibility Criteria for CRPF Asst Sub Inspector (Steno)

    • Educational qualification:
      • Candidates must have passed Intermediate (Class 12th) (under 10+2 system) or equivalent examination from a board or university recognized by Central or State Government. 
      • Note: The equivalency of another board shall be on similar line and recognized from Central Govt. and cannot be replaced by other board exam or technical exam undertaken after class 10th i.e. technical education or other stream are not equivalent. Two or Three year Diploma certificate in technical education done after 10th class is not equivalent to intermediate (10+2).
      • Skill Test (On computer): Dictation : 10 minutes @ 80 words per minute & Transcription time :- 50 minutes in English or 65 minutes in Hindi on computer. 
    • Age limit: 18 to 25 years (The crucial date for determining the age will be 25/04/2017, which is the closing date of application. Candidate should not have been born earlier than 26/04/1992 and not later than 25/04/1999 )
    • Application Fee: Male candidates belonging to General(UR) and OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should deposit Rs.100/-(Rupees one hundred) only as examination fee through following mode: Through SBI Challan (Bank Challan other than SBI will not be accepted) or Payment of fee through SBI Challan will be accepted upto 20/04/2017 only or Net banking through any bank. Credit/Debit Card of any bank.
       

    Selection Process for Central Reserve Police Force ASI Steno Jobs

    • All candidates applying for the recruitment and prima-facie eligible will be asked to appear in Physical Standards Test and documentation.     • The recruitment process shall be as under: (I) Physical Standard Test (PST)/Documentation (II) Written examination (III) Skill test (i.e. Stenography/short hand test) (IV) Medical examination and Review Medical Examination (V) Mode of selection/drawal of final merit list.

    Exam pattern & Syllabus Central Reserve Police Force ASI Steno Jobs

    • The written examination will be conducted on OMR basis at designated centre’s. The written examination will be of one paper only carrying 225 marks consisting of following two parts:
    • Part-I:
      • Section-A: Hindi Language Or English Language (Optional)
      • Note: Candidates will be at the discretion to attempt the language paper consisting of comprehension either in Hindi or English. The exam text will be different for Hindi language and English language.
      • Section-B: General Intelligence.
      • Section-C: Numerical Aptitude.
      • Section-D: Clerical Aptitude
    • Part-II (Descriptive paper):
      • (Note: Section B, C, D of Part-I will be set as bilingual. Paper -II descriptive will also be set as bilingual.)
      • Part-II will consist of descriptive manner consisting of two questions i.e Essay writing of 15 marks which is to be written in about 150 words and letter writing of 10 marks which is to be written in about 100 words ( Total 25 marks). Marks obtained by candidates in Part-II will be added in final merit list. Part-II will not have minimum qualifying marks. Procedure for assessment of descriptive paper will be as under:
      • Essay Writing ( 15 marks)
        • Content: 05 marks
        • Coherence/Relevancy: 05 marks
        • Accuracy: 05 marks
      • Letter writing (10 marks)
        • Format: 03 marks
        • Content: 04 marks
        • Accuracy: 03 marks
    • Note: 
      • There will be only one question paper for two and half hours (2 ½ hrs) duration consisting of above two parts. The question in all the part-I ( Section-A to D) will be "OBJECTIVE TYPE WITH MULTIPLE CHOICE”. Each section will be consisting of 50 questions carrying one mark each for right answer. A candidate obtaining qualifying pass percentage out of total 200 marks shall be considered as qualified for next stage. The aggregate qualifying marks will be 40% for General categories and 35% for SC/ST/OBC candidates i.e. 80 Marks for General Candidates and 70 Marks for SC/ST/OBC out of 200 marks in part-I of written test
      • Part-II will be attempted either in Hindi or in English language only.
      • Final merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained in Part-I and Part-II which is of 225 marks.
