Eligibility
- Educational qualification & Age Limit:
- GPSC Class 1 & 2: A candidate shall hold a Bachelor’s degree of any University incorporated by an Act of the Parliament or State Legislature in India or other educational institution established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by Government. A candidate who has appeared or intend to appear or awaiting result of final semester/year of the required qualification, can apply, but the candidate has to qualify and submit the required qualification as advertised before the last date of submitting application for mains examination. Also the candidate must have completed 20 years of age on the last date of online application.
- 20 to 35 years
- Inspector of Registration: Possess a Bachelor’s degree obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Not more than 38 years.
- Deputy Director (IT): Possess a degree of Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology or Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Computer Technology or degree of Master of Computer Application or Master of Science (IT) obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956
- Not more than 45 years
- Private Secretaries (English Stenographers, Grade-I): A candidate shall (i) Possess a degree obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State act in India; or any other educational institution recognised by such or declared as deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government. (ii) have passed the test in English Shorthand @ 120 w.p.m.as prescribed in the Private Secretaries (English and Gujarati Stenographer, Grade-I) class-II (in the Secretariat and other offices) Recruitment (Examination) Rules, 2010; held by the Gujarat Public Service Commission (iii) possess the basic Knowledge of computer application, at the time of appointment, as prescribed by the Government; and (iv) possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati and/or Hindi.
- 21 to 40 years
- Clinical Psychologist: A Degree of Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology subject obtained from any of the Universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; and recognized as such by the Rehabilitation Council of India.
- Not more than 34 years
- District Youth Development Officer: Possess a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or Performing Arts or Visual Arts or Fine arts or Dance or Drama or Music obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; Basic knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967.
- Not more than 35 years
- Scientific Officer (Chemistry): possess a post-graduate degree in Forensic Science or Chemical Sciences or Chemistry or Bio-Chemistry or Forensic Pharmacy or Forensic Nano-technology or Pharmacy or Pharmacology; obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be deemed as University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956.
- Not more than 40 years
- Industries Officer: (i) Possess a Post- Graduate degree or Post-Graduate diploma in Business Administration or Management or Entrepreneurship Development obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared to be a deemed University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or any other equivalent qualification recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education. (ii) Possess the basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967.
- Not more than 37 years
- Industries Officer (Technical) and Manager (Raw Materials): Possess a First Class bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology (excluding Civil Engineering) obtained from any of the universities or institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared as deemed university under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Not more than 38 years
- Assistant Research Officer: Possess a Master Degree in Engineering (Civil) or Technology (Civil) or Geo-Physics or Geology obtained from any of the Universities established or incorporated by or under the Central or a State Act in India; or any other educational institution recognized as such or declared to be a deemed as a University under section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Government.
- Not more than 40 years
- Pay Scale:
- For Class-I: 15,600-39,100 + ` 5,400 Grade-pay and other allowances (According to 6th Pay Commission) Pay Matrix Level No: 10 ` 56,100-1,77,500 and other allowances (According to 7th Pay Commission)
- For Class-II: 9,300-34,800 + ` 4,600 Grade-pay and other allowances (According to 6th Pay Commission) Pay Matrix Level No: 8 ` 44,900-1,42,400 and other allowances (According to 7th Pay Commission)
- Application Fee: Rs. 100/-
